Meet Our Founder

Dondra Edwards

With more than 20 years of experience in business consulting, implementation, and relationship management, Dondra Edwards founded Transition Acceleration Group (T.A.G.) after recognizing a significant gap in the operational support available to healthcare providers. She built T.A.G. to do more than offer recommendations. The company takes ownership of complex administrative challenges and carries the work through to resolution.

Dondra is known for succeeding where conventional approaches have failed. When a practice encounters a credentialing obstacle, payer enrollment issue, medical billing complication, or operational roadblock that others have been unable to resolve, she knows how to identify the underlying problem, reach the right people, and move the process forward. Her ability to navigate payer requirements, correct conflicting provider data, and develop practical solutions has made her a trusted resource for healthcare practices nationwide.

Dondra specializes in provider credentialing, reimbursement readiness, Medicare enrollment, and the implementation of medical billing within dental practices. She also helps practices improve efficiency, strengthen administrative processes, and increase profitability through Practice Acceleration Coaching™.

Drawing from a diverse background in consulting and management across multiple industries, Dondra brings a broad business perspective to every engagement. Her experience includes strategic planning, implementation of sleep medicine into dental practices, marketing, payer relations, credentialing, and medical billing for dentists. She combines this business knowledge with hands-on implementation, helping providers overcome administrative barriers so they can focus on patient care and sustainable growth.

When she is not leading seminars or speaking engagements, Dondra enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and three dogs. She has served on the board of directors for the Atlanta Mutual Housing Association and has supported organizations including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Kate’s Club. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she studied special education with a concentration in mild disabilities.
